Meet the Team

Dr. Katie Mysen is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. 

Dr. Mysen is making it her mission to ensure that every single person in her community and the surrounding areas are able to receive high-quality health care that they can afford, that is convenient for them and that is truly patient-centered, which is why she started a company that provides just that.

Dr. Mysen has worked for many years as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Urgent Care. Her expertise in diagnosing and treating acute conditions and managing chronic illness with a strong focus on health promotion and wellness has helped patients make healthy lifestyle changes, reach their health goals and live their best lives. 

 

Dr. Mysen holds a Doctorate in Nurse Practice from Oakland University, where she is also an instructor in the School of Nursing. Dr. Mysen’s Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees are from Michigan State University and she is a die-hard Spartan fan (Go Green!)

Dr. Mysen and her family are proud members and supporters of the Oxford community. They don't have much free time but, when they do, they enjoy spending time at their lake house in Otter Lake. 

Ashley Weaver is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Dr. Katie Mysen & Associates. Her expertise is in Adult and Family Primary Care and she enjoys bringing these services to patients throughout her community as a traveling provider. She also provides palliative care services to assist in improving a patient’s quality of life. 

 

Ashley holds a Masters degree in Nursing Practice from Saginaw Valley State University. She has received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Wayne State University where she was a “Hall of Fame” student-athlete with the Women’s swim & dive team. She’s also obtained a Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy. 

 

Ashley & her husband live with their two young children in Oxford.  She enjoys spending time with family & friends at her family’s cottage on Harsens Island.
